Flare's batch upload functionality can be used to either upload employees or download employee reports. Within the batch upload, there are a variety of different datasets available to extract information from Flare. This article reviews each dataset and exactly what information it contains.

1. Navigate to Settings > Batch upload
2. Ensure that the Employee load options drop-down displays the Employee Spreadsheet option.
3. Within STEP 1 you must choose what datasets you want in your employee import. You can see which fields are included in each dataset by hovering your mouse over the icon.
The following are all of the datasets as well as what information is included in each dataset:
Full name information | This dataset will include middle name, preferred name and title. |
Full employee details | This dataset will include date of birth, work phone, mobile phone, hide mobile, hide email and ethnic origin. |
Employment details |
This dataset will include the employee number, date started, date contract end, probation months, date terminated, recruitment source and holiday group. |
Employee's address | This dataset will include address line 1, address line 2, city, state, postal code and country. |
Emergency contact | This dataset will include emergency contact (1) name, emergency contact (1) relationship, emergency contact (1) email, emergency contact (1) mobile, emergency contact (2) name, emergency contact (2) relationship, emergency contact (2) email and emergency contact (2) mobile. |
Payroll details | This dataset will include employment basis, pay group, seniority level, ordinary earning rate, fte salary, fte ration, work hours code, standard work hours, work hours period, employment bonus notes, work pattern effective date and work pattern. |
Tax information | This dataset will include TFN, TFN exemption category, australian resident for tax purposes, tax free threshold claimed, tax offset estimated amount, whether the employee has HELP or SFSS debt, whether they are a working holiday maker, whether they have trade support loan debt, upward variation tax withholding, whether they are eligible to receive leave loading, approved withholding variation, other tax offset estimated, upward variation requested, seniors and pensioners tax offset, whether they have an approved withholding variation and their tax information signed date. |
Superannuation details | This dataset will include defaulted fund, whether the super is self managed, super USI, superfund name, super ABN, super bank account BSB, super bank account name, super bank account number, super member number and super electronic service address. |
Role details | This dataset will include division, department, job, location, reports to, team, work group, legal entity, brand, position and contract group. |
Basic pay details | This dataset will include the pay award, pay award level, pay state, pay location, pay rate code and total employment cost. |
Pay details |
This dataset will include salary, payment period, salary including super, average hourly rate and wages per hour. |
Primary bank account |
This dataset will include earning bank account (1) BSB, earning bank account (1) name, earning bank account (1) number and earning bank account (1) statement. |
Second bank account | This dataset will include earning bank account (2) BSB, earning bank account (2) name, earning bank account (2) number, earning bank account (2) fixed amount and earning bank account (2) statement. |
