Here’s an explanation of some of the error messages you might get while saving changes to your TFN information, and what each of them means:
1) Tax Information has failed to update - Unauthorized
This message means that you do not have permission to change your tax information. Please contact your HR Manager.
2) Information required to submit your tax declaration is missing
This message, or a similar one usually means that the details of your company in Flare HR is incomplete. Your company may have moved to Flare HR recently and have not filled all the required fields yet. Please contact your HR Manager.
3) Missing contact details
This message usually means that you have not entered your complete address details into Flare HR. Please make sure that you have entered all your address details as Flare HR cannot submit your TFN declaration if your address is missing or incomplete.
4) Failed to validate
This message usually means that you have not entered your date of birth into Flare HR. Please make sure that you have entered your date of birth as Flare HR cannot submit your TFN declaration if your address is missing or incomplete.
If the date of birth is recorded, check on the legal entity details. The legal entity must have a valid phone number.
5) Can not overwrite the taxscale with empty value
This message is just a warning and will not prevent users from submitting their TFN details.
6) Select a payment basis
This message typically appears when an 'Employment Type' isn't specified in the employee's role page.
