How To Analyse Employee Benefit and Discount Use

For many HR Managers, being able to quantify the value and engagement of benefits offered to employees can be difficult. Flare’s Benefits platform allows you to run Benefits Analytics, which gives an understanding of how engaged your team is with the benefits offered in the Flare platform. 

Benefits Analytics is split into three sections (tabs): 

1. Overview

2. Benefits

3. Discounts


Follow Me.

Ensure you have access to Benefits Analytics (Benefits > Analytics), by going to Settings > Security > Select the Permission Group that should have access.

Select the 'Menu access' tab and tick the 'Analytics' checkbox. 

Note: The 'Updated at' section at the top of the screen indicates the accuracy of the data. Simply refresh the page to receive the the most up to date detail.

 

Overview

The Overview screen provides high-level details on employees' Benefit activities.
 
Filter the information by date. Set the date range to 7 Days, 30 Days, Last Month, This Week, or This Month.
  • Total savings: This number shows the total $ amount of money saved by your employees by buying Flare Benefits during all time (or filter by dater ange)
  • Savings per employee: Average savings per employee in your business
  • Active employees: Shows who has accessed the Flare Benefits screen

Benefits

This tab provides analytics of the Flare Benefit page. 

Filter information by date range (7 Days, 30 Days, Last Month, This Week, This Month or All Time) and click 'Export Data' to download this information directly to your device.

The individual columns contain the following: 

  • Name of the Flare Benefit. These can be edited using the Benefit Manager
  • Status of the Benefits. These can be set to Active/Inactive using the Benefit Manager
  • Category of the Benefits. These are also controlled in the Benefit Manager
  • Seen: Displays the total amount of times the Benefits page has been accessed with the active Benefit showing. 
  • Viewed: If the Benefit has an attached document, this displays the total amount of times the document has been clicked. If there is no document attached, it will display 0. 
  • Learn More: If the Benefit has a link, this displays the total amount of times the link has been clicked. If there is no link, this will display 0. 
  • Last Interacted: This displays the last time a Benefit has been Seen or clicked on.

Click on the respective headers to sort the information.

Discounts

This section provides analytics of the Flare Discounts platform and displays information on what is being purchased and the savings made by your employees.

Filter information by date range (7 Days, 30 Days, Last Month, This Week, This Month or All Time) and click 'Export Data' to download this information directly to your device.

The individual columns contain the following: 

  • Name of the Discount provider/retailer. 
  • Purchased: This displays the total amount of store cards purchased for this retailer.
  • Total Sales: The total $ amount of store cards purchased for this retailer in your business.
  • Average Sale Amount: The average $ amount of store cards purchased for this retailer in your business.
  • Total Saved: Displays the total $ amount of money your employees have been able to save by purchasing a store card from this retailer.
  • Last Purchased: The last time a store card was purchased from this retailer.

Click on the respective headers to sort the information.
